Leadership Team
Chris Todd
Founder & Managing Director
After working both on and off the tools in the industry for over 16 years, Chris has worked for and managed some of Melbourne’s most trusted air conditioning and refrigeration companies. His strength has always been his attention to detail, safety – for himself, the client, and everyone on the worksite, and processes to ensure each job and clients expectations are met and exceeded in the most efficient way possible. Chris also holds a certificate IV in Project Management and has managed many air conditioning projects over the years up to and including large commercial central plant projects, all delivered on time and to the highest possible standards. With his experience Chris understands the job or project from start to finish and can communicate effectively with all stakeholders involved, from trades and site foreman to the contracts administrators and management team.
Alex Coslovich
General Manager
Alex has more than 35 years of experience in power distribution products and applications. A qualified, professional electrical engineer with extensive business experience, he has managed large teams in manufacturing, engineering design, sales and product management, as well as service and project management. This experience was developed across a career employed by blue-chip engineering companies such as ABB, NHP, Transurban and Visy Industries.
Alex has actively participated in IEC and AS committees, supporting the electrical industry to develop standards that are practical and ensure quality. Alex specialises in helping customers understand their power consumption profiles, able to identify genuine cost savings by implementing demand management solutions and infrastructure upgrades. Electric Vehicles are a personal passion for Alex and his extensive knowledge in the field is valuable for customers transitioning to electric fleets.
Anthony Heron
Service Supervisor
Anthony has been in the refrigeration and air-conditioning trade for 18 years doing both service and installation work. He’s predominantly worked on the tools and has recently progressed into a management role.
Having run many projects himself, Anthony understands the importance of having a good team and being able to deliver the project on budget and on time. With a keen eye for detail he always strives to find the best looking and most practical solution. Anthony prides himself on having great relationships with many of TBS’s long standing customers.
Rex Berry
Projects & Engineering Manager
Rex has a wealth of experience gained over the last 50 years within the HVAC industry including design, manufacture, commissioning in such areas as Contracting, Consulting, Service, Marine and Defence, running individual divisions to managing organisations across Australian and New Zealand. His qualifications include: Trade Certificate – Sheet Metal Worker 1st Class, Advanced Trade Certificate – Sheet Metal Work, Mechanical Engineering Certificate, Design Engineering Certificate, Bachelor of Engineering – Mechanical, Diploma Business Management, Carrier Air Conditioning HVAC Certificate, Trane Company Air Conditioning and HVAC Systems Design Certificate, Consultative & Marketing Certificate – Australian Institute of Management, Top Gun Sales and Marketing Certificate, Defence Security Clearance, Working with Children Clearance, Industry White Card.
