To install a new CRAC, chiller and remote condenser for our customer in Cranbourne.

Our specialised medical installation team has recently finished an installation of a new CRAC, chiller and remote condenser for a customer in Cranbourne.
This was for a medical facility, so all of the pipework needed to be installed using B Press Fittings.
Challenges:
There was a strict timeline for this project due to the MRI magnet having a set delivery date. Therefore everything had to be up and running to accommodate for the magnet to be installed, once it arrived on site. The magnet in the MRI machine is the component which produces strong magnetic fields for resonance imaging. To ensure accurate imaging, the magnet needs to be constantly maintained at a temperature of -270 degrees celsius.

Originally the project was awarded to another contractor. Shortly before the project was meant to commence, the contractor informed the customer that they wouldn’t be able to complete the project under the time constraints required. One of our customers, who was the company supplying the equipment, recommended TBS Services Group to install the equipment required.
This project had its challenges, and there were some late nights for the team, however our specialised medical installation team were able to get everything installed and commissioned by the date required.
